Weekly probable pitchers - where to find them

#1 Post by johnd2442 »

What would the illustrious men of Mastersball suggest in where I should look on the web for probable pitcher lists? Rototimes seems like the likely culprit, but I'm wondering if anyone has a better option?

Thank you in advance!

Rototimes is out of business.

I personally use Rotowire and stay on top of the news.

I am going to keep an eye out for this the next couple of weeks and provide any link I find useful in the resources section of the front page. Presently, there is a link to USA Today Rotisserie Corner which includes probable pitchers though I cannot speak towards the accuracy.

thanks for the reply, todd. sorry i'm late with a response. wow...i didn't know rototimes was out of business. back in the mid 2000's, i went to that site often, if for only reason to visit their message board as well since it was pretty good and active.

rotowire will have to be a standard stop it looks like. that's a big help todd, thank you!

EDIT to add: unfortunately it looks like the rotowire projected starter feature is a pay thing. amazing. there's gotta be a website like rototimes, i'm thinking, that simply lists probable pitchers.

i did find that mlb.com does it for free: http://mlb.mlb.com/news/probable_pitche ... p?c_id=mlb

ESPN does it as well: http://espn.go.com/mlb/probables

Sporting News too: http://aol.sportingnews.com/mlb/probable-pitchers

CBS Sports does it: http://www.cbssports.com/mlb/probable-pitchers

of all, i think ESPN's layout is the best, but CBS Sports isn't bad, just a tad jumbled. MLB's is ok, but you have to click separate links for last 3 start info, and that is sort of a waste of time. ESPN's is clearly laid out on one page. Sporting News' is the worst since it is just a basic list.
