Todd, last season you were very high on Gausman (I ended up keeping him, thanks). Anything change for this season? I can keep him for 1 year at $32.
12 team AL only 5x5 H2H keeper league using W+QS. My concern is he's basically a 2-pitch SP (FB+splitter 89% in 2023). Last year he threw his splitter in the zone around 21% of the time so hitters began laying off it more resulting in more walks. So he depends on his FB for strikes and while it does miss bats it has a high hard contact rate thus leading to a high BABIP the last two seasons. So do you see more of the same this season and is $32 too much for him? BTW, Cole and Castillo will be in the draft, possibly Pablo Lopez. Other possible SP1s Kirby, Eflin, Skubal and Valdez protected.
