12 team AL only 5x5 H2H keeper league using W+QS and S+H.

SP: Gausman, Ray, Kluber, Jose Suarez(streamer) and (Jon Gray-IL)
RP: Adam, Fairbanks, Bautista, Stephens, Duran and (Cionel Perez-bench)

In general, thoughts on using 3 SPs and 6 RPs in H2H playoffs? How many starts for my opponent and against which teams plus who Suarez faces are the deciders. If he's getting 2+ more starts than me then lean on ratios and S+H for the 3 points?

In general, there are two approaches.

1) Using what you feel is the best lineup
2) Playing defense to combat what you perceive to be your opponent's lineup

I usually lean to #1, but will consider #2 if my opponent is clearly strong/deficient in particular categories.

A major part of the approach is how the hitting side fleshes out. The more confident I am in my hitting, the more likely I am to just use my best pitching. if it's likely I lose a hitting category or two, I'll manage pitching to optimize my chance to win what I need to end up ahead. If that math says I'm in trouble, I'll set the lineup to capture upside.
