Kikuchi....washed up?

Kikuchi....washed up?

#1 Post by CubFan »

Time to cut bait on him in my 12 team AL only 5x5 H2H keeper league using W+QS? Except for a couple of good starts he's been bad. My other SPs are Gausman, Ray, Blackburn and Sandoval. And they've all had issues of late.

We need 800 IP by the time our playoffs start late Aug. I have Josh Winder on my bench but he may not return as a SP. There are a handful of RPs I could get via FAAB but going with 4 SPs makes it harder to win Ks and W+QS. I'm trying to trade for Baz, McClanahan, Ryan but their owners seem reluctant to move them. Springs may be an option as he seems to have evolved into a decent SP but will he be innings capped? The Gilbert/Pivetta owner will move one of them for either Pena or Mullins but that seems a bit steep and their bench replacement is one of Kiermaier, Grossman or Hasniger. Thoughts?

Kikuchi had a solid May, but June has been rough. I'm in more wait and see mode, but it's league dependent as not every setup is conducive to stashing a player.
