2 start vs 1 start

12 team AL only 5x5 H2H using W+QS and S+H. I've got Flexen slated for 2 tough starts this week @ Houston and at home vs TB. Just picked up Bradish (Balt) for my bench on a wait and see basis. He's got one start at home vs Min. I've got 7 starts with Flexen. My opponent only has 3 starts scheduled. One of his starters (Winder) goes back to the pen and Houck isn't scheduled this week. Roll with Flexen and hope he doesn't get lit up or take a chance with Bradish (normally don't like to use rookie SP until they get more games under their belt).

In H2H, it's more about what choice wins the most categories. If it looks like your opponent will take ratios, then the two start option helps assure taking wins/QS and K's. I'd make the decision using that thinking as opposed to "projecting" Flexen and Bradish.

Got it. In a sense I was looking at that from the standpoint of which of the 2 SP would have the least negative impact on ratios. But it seems a bit moot when I dove deeper into his pitchers he should win ratios. But since his IPs should be low all it takes is a meltdown in one of his SPs and a RP or two.
