Quite the Rosario projection in Cleveland. Any thoughts behind the nice outlook?

There are a couple of things in play here. I'll start with Rosario will have fewer PA next update. I had him batting only leadoff. I needed to account for the chance he hits lower, at least some of the time.

That said, Progressive Field is a much better venue for hits than Citi Field. There's a 12% difference. That's about 12 points in batting average. Rosario has hit .270 since 2018 so the .280 projected average reflects the park change.

Rosario didn't run last season, I don't know why, but I can't imagine he won't pick up the pace again this season.

I thought he didn't run last year because his career SB% is 66.7 and they wanted to install stop signs on the base paths for him.

This piece suggests the opposite. It seems odd they didn't even try to see if the training was successful.

Given the AB/PA totals I'm seeing for Amed, Gimenez, and Cesar, do you think Rosario will get a lot of his PT in the OF?

Yes, it's speculative, but yes.
