Covid/Injuries hit my team how do I proceed

#1 Post by MaestroJay »

5x5 12 team H2H 6 moves a week limit.

I'm out of moves for the week and IL slots. So unfortunately, I haven't been able to do much. Though I'm barely able to field a roster right now.
Aside from Bassitt who was a streamer and unfortunately due to circumstances probably McKay. Who else are you cutting bait with here of the covid crowd? As I can't really make a trade with how my team has been hit.

C - Realmuto
1B - Bell
2B - Santana (1B/2B/SS/3B/OF)
3B - Kingery (2B/3B/SS/OF)
SS - Mondesi
OF - JDM/Harper/Robert
UTIL - Peralta/Riley(3B/OF)
BN - A.Garcia/Anderson(3B/OF)/Myers (1B/OF)
IL - Soto/Mazara

SP - Glasnow/Paxton
RP - Maeda/Kintzler
P - Gallen/Lamet/Bassitt/Martinez
BN - McKay
IL - Kluber/Kela

Looking at ww options that atleast fit positionally of MI/3B depth - Andrus, Solano,JP Crawford, Happ, Castro, K.Seager
Looking at SP Canning, Alcantara, Canning and Richards are best options

In H2H, I think you have no choice but to take the L and hope to make it up when he doubleheaders start to kick in. The Phillies have 7 games next week while Miami has six so you should be back at full strength.

Are Kluber and Mckay drops right now? Kluber drop would free an IL slot for Santana who'd be back sooner. While losing McKay would actually give me bench sp depth that is active.

To be honest, McKay shouldn't be in a roster in a league this shallow so easy drop.

In a season like this, it's best to drop someone like Kluber. Can't hold and hope you need him.

Pretty good chance Cardinals and Tigers miss games this week so make sure you're covered there.
