10 Man keeper league

#1 Post by jmette »

I'm in a 10 man keeper league. We keep 10 guys then have 12 draft picks to fill out the rest of the roster. While preparing to make other moves I'd like to keep in mind who will be my 10 keepers. What are your thoughts?

Tough to eyeball non-standard categories, especially anything with fielding.

Is it keep forever?

Assuming it is,

1. I'm not keeping ANY closer. Even with blown saves, saves are very much devalued in this format

2. Not keeping any catchers in a 1 catcher, 10 team league

3. I like Sale, Bieber, Paddack and Castillo but 4 SP feels like overdoing it - though maybe not

4. Soto, Machado, Bellinger are no brainers. I think Jose Ramirez is too.

5. That leaves 2 or 3 spots. Early lean is Goldschmidt, Benintendi and probably Alvarez. That's actually 11, would need to more tuned into the scoring to really decide.
