Luis Castillo

Is it time to drop Luis Castillo? I'm in a 12 team 5x5 plus QS redraft league. I always worry about dropping a player too fast. Especially a guy that I think can be excellent like Castillo. Could pick up Bieber, Eflin, Clayton Richard, or Felix.

Holding or dropping Castillo completely depends on how much you need the roster spot to stay alive. There's really no secrets here, everyone is flummoxed. While not as solid as last season, Castillo's K and BB percent have settled into a serviceable area -- its homers that are crushing him. Homers are usually a mix of bad pitching and bad luck so yeah, there's still hope - that's the allure.
