NFBC Draft Champions Advice

#1 Post by UK BlueCat »

Just looking for some 2nd opinions. We are currently starting round 13. So far my team looks like this:

C: Gomes
CI: Davis
MI: Desmond, Zobrist
OF: Jones, Cespedes, L Martin
SP: Strasburg, Iwakuma, Lee
CL: Storen, Uehara

My question is who do you like as my other corner infielder? I could go with either 1b or 3b since Davis is eligible for both. Also, my BA looks to be pretty low so I'm thinking I could go for a low BA guy that puts up some good counting stats. Best available are: Teixeira, Hosmer, Napoli, Morse, Alvarez, Carpenter, Headley, Prado.

I don't think I like any of them at that spot to be honest.

I assume LaRoche is gone? I like Lind better than what you have there. I could see going for a starter since Lee at SP3 is a risk and seeing what's left next time.

Yeah, sorry, I didn't necessarily mean I was going to take them with the next pick. Laroche is gone btw. I should be able to wait a few rounds on most of those guys. Ramos is the best catcher left, still have Phillips/Cabrera/Escobar/Aybar/Gyorko at the MI spot, Jackson/Crawford/KDavis/Cuddyer/Hunter/Byrd in the OF and Bailey/Sanchez/McCarthy/Latos/Weaver/McHugh/Garza/Liriano on the SP side.
