Harvey has partially torn UCL

ESPN reporting Matt Harvey has a partially torn UCL. That is devastating for the young man and likely to many NL and mixed league owners. And people wonder why pitch counts are monitored. One can look in many directions to place blame such as the high pitch counts many college coaches place on young arms as well as the mismanagement by some pro mangers. But the bottom line is the human arm is not designed to throw a baseball at 90+ mph overhand. Those that have dodged this bullet and pitched at a high level are unique specimens.
