Cubs fan in my league wants Rizzo (who I own)
He has offered me
Brandon Phillips and my pick of any ONE of the following pitchers... Who do you choose?
Alex Cobb
Jeff Samardzja
Hyun-Jin Ryu
Homer Bailey
Gio Gonzalez
My initial thinking is Gio, he started out slow but then he got better but his last start he looked terrible. Homer has been pretty good all year and plays for a good team. Samardzja gets tons of K's but plays on a crappy team. Ryu? I just dont know about him.
Let me know
Trade advise.....Pick one
Re: Trade advise.....Pick one
What kind of league?
How many teams?
Who replaces Rizzo? and Who does Phillips replace?
What does your pitching staff look like now?
The question does not just stand alone

Re: Trade advise.....Pick one
Rizzo is in my utility spot.
Keeper league
Pitching staff is already damn good.
I just think Rizzo for Phillips is close, but adding a pitcher makes it to my advantage.
McClouth would be my "dropped" player to make the move

Okay I still don't really have enough information so let me just make a few commentsxtrme98 wrote:Rizzo is in my utility spot.

1) NO way I give up on Rizzo in a keeper league
2) IF Rizzo is UT and you swap for Phillips doesn't he go to UT?
3) McLouth is way too valuable to be dropped (at the very least you should be shopping him and the pitcher you would be dropping assuming that is the case)
4) YOUR team but if you make the trade I would take Ryu as the pitcher - greater upside than the others (and he is already at an ERA under 3.00)

I presume that the KEEPERS are the ones you kept this yearxtrme98 wrote:Here's my team

BUT yes, IF you can only keep two players then you should make the trade
Rizzo for Phillips and Ryu
