possible trade need advice.....

Get advice specific to your team. This can be opinions on trades, free agent or waiver pickups, who to start or even just "rate my team". It is helpful if you provide sufficient details regarding your league format and team composition.

Having Kershaw is irrelevant. What matters is who replaces Verlander? That will be a downgrade. You need to compare that to the offensive upgrade and decide if your team is better. Without knowing your format it is hard to offer an opinion on that but the key is comparing you entire lineup before the deal to after - not just the players involved.

Regardless of format, the only way I make this deal is if someone has one of my grandkids hostage. LaRoche=Longoria. Pagan = non juicing Melky. So why is Verlander even being considered?

Willing to be that regardless of format this is a BAD trade for you

Who are you so anxious to get?
The guy who plays third base? ... well at least for the times he is not on the DL

Please someone tell me why I am rostering Hellickson! I can't put my finger on it yet; I just can't get excited about this 15year old looking kid.. I follow baseball quite closely, yet must be missing something here.. How good is this kid, and should I just chill out and wait till he blooms, or did I miss the budding rose already? Thanks

In an AL only league what about 177 IP of 3.10 ERA and 1.25 WHIP with an increase in K/9 didn't you like?

Or are you trying to analyze all of two starts this year?
