Now that the rest of the Cardinals OF is healthy [Holliday, Beltran, Jay], Matt Carpenter has essentially become a total non-factor. My league has no bench so I cannot wait around for the inevitable injury. Aside from an OFer getting injured today, is there any reason to keep Carpenter active for even one more week?
My team is just out of the money [4 of 10 cash] and there is a 3-way fight for the 4th position with 3rd not all that far ahead. PT is important. I have not looked at my other options but this question is solely about Carpenter. Even though the league is NL-only, there are always a few acceptable OFs available. Not good but acceptable.

With Berkman out, your looking at 6-8 PA a week (one game and some pinch-hitting).
