Who should I take?

#1 Post by maxdad007 »

I have the 4th pick in a H2H points based league. My keepers are Johan, Braun, and M. Holliday. I have narrowed it down to these five players in the order I like them-

CC Sabathia - Has highest projected points and is probably the best player available. (Proj. Points 548)
Aramis Ramirez - Best non-1B or OFer available (465)
Prince Fielder - Highest ranked 1B/OFer available (517)
Brian Roberts - Highest ranked 2B available with Utley and Kinsler kept. (466)
Nick Markakis - 2nd highest ranked 1B/OFer available (497)

I am leaning towards Ramirez if I had a choice but a Sabathia/Johan staff would let me go hitting pretty much for my next 7-8 picks. I think also that there are some good sleepers at 2nd base that I can get late. Since I already have 2 OFers I am not sure if I need Markakis which is why I ranked him last. Would love to hear what everyone else thinks.
