Has a really good shot to be closing by the All-Star Break or Opening Day Next Year?

There's been some very recent talk that KC would be willing to exercise their $8 million club option on Soria next year if his rehab goes well. Reasoning is how much able-bodied elite closers have gone for this year. I think it's just wishful thinking on the part of Soria fans as that is too much of a risk and the insurance on him would be prohibitive. But I do think they will try to sign him at a much reduced salary.

I have no confidence in Matt Capps holding onto the closers job in Minnesota. I like Glen Perkins by the ASB.
