5x5 using AVG. For some reason, closers run a bit high (usually $12-15 for good ones), so I may try to trade mine pre-auction...
I can keep six of these. Stanton is obvious. Who else?
Salvador Perez $6
Ryan Lavarnway $6
Ian Kinsler $32
Starlin Castro $9
Alex Gordon $11
Jhonny Peralta $6
Jay Bruce $25
BJ Upton $25
Mike Stanton $13
Yonder Alonso $6
Domonic Brown $6
Stephen Strasburg $18
Anibal Sanchez $12
Jaime Garcia $10
Ryan Vogelsong $6 (man, your projections hate him)
Kyle Farnsworth $9
Ryan Madson $8
Cory Luebke $6
Manny Banuelos $2 (stays at 2 until he reaches the majors)
12-team mixed keeper questions
Re: 12-team mixed keeper questions
Well IMO Castro, Gordon, Madson, and Luebke are also "obvious" so with Stanton that is five
Farnsworth is underrated and if the good closers are teen$ in your league he is a plus at $9
Banuelos means you have to not keep someone who will contribute this year - fine with me IF you can reserve him and fill the spot
I like Vogelsong more than Todd
Given you have built in profit with your first five, I would be inclined to keep Kinsler as the sixth - hard to imagine he goes for less in the draft and he is a borderline first rounder that gives you power & speed (then you could trade Farnsworth...or Madson and keep the other)
