Danks on waivers, who to drop AL only

Get advice specific to your team. This can be opinions on trades, free agent or waiver pickups, who to start or even just "rate my team". It is helpful if you provide sufficient details regarding your league format and team composition.

Danks on waivers, who to drop AL only

#1 Post by special k »

Off chance Danks will slip to me in my 10-team AL-only 5x5; looks like he is turning it around.
But staff is decent; in a dogfight for first overall, no specific weaknesses.
Would you drop him for any of the following:
Pineiro
Tomlin
Matusz
Aceves
Downs
Carrasco

Rest of staff is Felix, Walden, Colon already replaced by Cobb, rules won't let me waive final two right now.

Thoughts tonight, please if possible.

Tomlin, Aceves and Downs jump off the screen at me. Downs isn't bad for holding ratios down though. I personally think Tomlin has turned into a pumpkin. That's who I would ditch.

+1 Tomlin

Agreed, but aced out, no luck. Will hope Tomlin rights the ship ... and he is a $1 keeper, even if I am in win-now mode, so I will put on the rose-colored glasses.
Somehow still in first despite disablements of Hughes, Matusz, McCarthy, Ross, Braden and Carrasco. And now Colon. My team is like a voodoo needle for pitchers ...
