It's time to wade through the flotsam. Had our draft last Sunday but need to replace Blalock. So, who has more value going forward....Chavez, Kapler, Brignac, Don Kelly, Terry Evans, Sweeney, Lugo, or a bucket of used baseballs?

Eric Chavez.....as long as he stays healthy he is the (almost) every day DH for Oakland

all of the others are part time players at best
IF I couldn't get Chavez my choices would be
Lugo - most upside
Sweeney -will have some value until he gets hurt, especially IF they platoon him at DH with Griffey

I have Blalock and Chavez both starting... yeah, I know. Luckily Cust was cut, and hopefully Blalock gets called up before I drop him. I'm praying for Russell Branyan to miss a couple weeks so LaPorta gets 10 games in at 1B. But yeah... Chavez is the one to grab. Full time DH, and he's the backup 3B/SS as well.

I ended up putting Chavez as my #1 choice but my $2 FAAB is not likely enough.
