I just finished this NFBC draft. I was in the 6 hole. There must have been half a dozen times the player I wanted was taken immediately before me. I've never draft a team without several power corners. I was planning to take one in the second but couldn't resist Phillips. All the better corners [even Kendry] were gone by 3.6 so i took Werth. The 31 person took Pujols, Adrian and Votto as his first 3 selections. A corner run ensued. Closers went late and SPs a bit early. Lincecum was the 3rd pitcher taken. getting Haren in the 4th was a shocker.
I will interested to see how this team plays out. It has warts but has very good pitching at the top given how I typically wait. Don't think I ever took two SPs in the first five rounds.
