Qualls and the projections

#1 Post by shif6 »

What do you think the likelihood is of his being traded? He becomes a free agent at the end of the season. Arizona might well be 4th in the division.

I have him for $9 in a 5x5 10 team $280 ten pitcher league. In terms of relievers, as possible keepers, I also have Broxton at 16 (a must keeper), and Bell's backup, Adams, at $5. Inflation is about 20%.

I am on the border of being a rebuilding team this year. I am thinking of trading Qualls, but would keep him if I do not get an offer I like. How much I should think about getting depends in whether a trade is likely. What do you think? And do you take the possibility of his being traded into account in the projections.

they also might be a wildcard team. they are not an obvious seller IMHO. therefore, there is no need to worry about Qualls. the DBacks won't know until July if they are buyers or sellers, so neither can we.

No, not at all.

Regardless you should keep him....if nothing else trade bait if you need to continue rebuilding

...and WHY do you say fourth in a weak division??? If (yes, capital I and capital F) Webb is healthy OR Kennedy finally breaks out, the team is good enough to compete in the NL West.
