I'm joining a start-up, 11-team, NL-only, auction style, 5x5, active roster of 15 hitter/10 pitcher, $260 budget (w/ 7 man bench and all FA during the season acquired w/$100 FAAB). I've played with several of the owners before and expect that approx. 70% of auction budgets will be spent on hitting. If I adopt the MB strategy to "bully" hitting how much of my budget should I target to spend on hitting?
