Stripling or Winder in AL only

#1 Post by CubFan »

12 team AL only 5x5 H2H keeper league using W+QS. Picked up Winder via FAAB last week and stashed on my bench. Stripling is on the wire. I think Winder will get a chance to get back into the rotation while Stripling may be a 5 and dive type. He's thrown well this season and likely a streamer against weaker teams. Winder's shoulder issue is said to be similar to what cost him the second half of last season so that scares me some. Who would you rather have RoS? My other SPs are Gausman, Ray, Sandoval, Blackburn and Kikuchi (debating on sitting him even though he gets one easy and one tough team to pitch against)

Stripling collected a QS today -- I'm personally not thinking ROS, I want the better guy now and will deal with a change if necessary. Stripling is in the rotation, he's pitching well and the team context is good.

With that said would you drop Kikuchi for him and keep Winder?

Too many factors to get that granular - but I still believe in Kikuchi.

Thanks for taking the time to reply Todd. You have more patience than me with Kikuchi.
