Closer valuation

#1 Post by murraygd13 »

Can you explain your closer valuation? Comparing your values for closers versus the CBS mock AL / NL only auctions as well as LABR; your values for closers are 10-20% higher than they have went for in these auctions. Thanks.

My numbers are expected earnings in relation to the draft-worthy pool. What the market is willing to pay is completely different. I've been preaching valuation is flawed. Prices should be looked at in a relative, not absolute basis. It's not pay $20 for X and $18 for Y, it's X should help your team more than Y so when the market is established, slot them in accordingly.
