Holds + Saves

#1 Post by mrmruwitchuwitch »

In our league, we just changed Saves to Saves(2) + Holds (1). Is there a place in CVRC or somewhere else in your data to accurately reflect this change in pitching dollar values or rankings?
thanks

Go to the Pitchers tab.

In Cell P2, type =2*F2+O2

Left-click onto the cell, hold and drag down through the data

Release and hit CTRL-D at the same time.

Highlight column P by clicking on the P

While it is highlighted, right-click on the P and choose COPY

Right-click on the F and choose PASTE SPECIAL - VALUES - OK

You've now replaced saves with two times saves plus holds

Go to League_Setup

Adjust to your league format

Number of teams
Number of pitchers drafted
Salary
Percent Pitching

CLICK FOR VALUES

Sorry if I went into too much detail. Sometimes people unfamiliar with Excel have the same question and simply answering, "set up the formula in an open cell, fill down and copy/paste special to the saves column" is too vague.
