Catcher Sleeper

#1 Post by canman490211 »

Good morning. 5x5 auction AL only league. Looking for a catcher that I can draft late for a buck or two that has future upside? I am aware of Willians Astudillo, but I am sure most good owners are aware of him. We draft 2 catchers and I am protecting Garver @ $1.00. Thanks so much. Steve

I'm off Astudillo. He's "catching" a break with Sano being out, otherwise I just don't see much playing time. Sure, enough for AL only, but not mixers and he's being drafted as C2 in mixers.

To be honest, there just aren't any catchers in the AL with that description. MAYBE Sean Murphy but I don't think he'll break camp, even with Herrmann hurt. Perhaps Max Stassi.
