I was offered lo Cain and falefa for my Stanton. No brainer to pull the trigger and if so, who do I drop

Really? I’m very interested why. Cain is outperforming Stanton so far. I know there’s a lot more baseball left but I’m taking 70 plus strike outs off my lineup. Falefa looks like the everyday 3rd basemen

ROS projections come out tomorrow. Look at the projections - decide if you agree/disagree then calculate points based on your scoring system. Negative for Ks obviously hurts Stanton, but he should far outperform Cain. Falefa won't crack your lineup and is a placeholder until Beltre is back. Gallo can also be moved back to 3B.

Looks like a knee jerk reaction to me but your team, your call.

I think your right about Stanton as to what he should do I just have him and gallo is killing me. I do believe kalefa will get reg at bats even when beltre is healthy. We’ll see but knee jerk reaction might be pretty acuarate. Time will tell

A different way of looking at things (not unusual for yours truly) - if I may. I would say 99% of the people who have read these posts would say "How long does it take you to hit REJECT already?" But there's something else here ... what is it about you that would make your potential trading partner think that you would bite on this? I say this because, in your posts, you indicate a contemplation of it ...which your trade partner already seems to know. How does he know that?

Let's take Kid's line of thinking and turn it around back on the other team.

When I see a deal like that, I think, "this person really wants to buy low on Giancarlo Stanton."

Why not find out how much?

You have some roster flexibility -- able to work in any position. I can't say for sure without knowing the scoring, but Gallo, Camargo and maybe Descalso are all potential targets to upgrade.

Is there someone other then Kiner-Falefa you could ask for along with Cain that would be a net gain?

That's another approach - counter with Cain and "X".

Kiner-Falefa, even is he is full-time, is just another guy.
