Jose Martinez Trade

#1 Post by jmette »

I play in a 12 team redraft 4OF H2H categories league with the categories R, RBI, HR, SB, AVG, OBP as well as K, W, QS, SV, ERA, WHIP

I went into my draft with Jose Martinez as a late round target and unfortunately I didn't get him. I ended up with rizzo and yonder Alonso as my 1B options and yelich, pollock, Harper, puig, hicks, and acuna as my OF options. I'm looking to trade for Jose Martinez now and the guy that got him is in need of a starter. I was thinking of offering one of Teheran, Garrett Richards, cueto, Morton, or David price but not sure which one.

Should I trade one of them, if so who? Or should I just roll with who I have?

Offer a choice of everyone you're comfortable dealing and let them choose.

Should I trade Garrett Richards for Jose Martinez?

Both were big targets of mine in the draft, but I keep wondering if I should just roll with rizzo and yonder Alonso. Alonso is off to a great start in that Cleveland lineup.

My answer is an oversimplification of all the factors, but I can't see making the deal but I don't see the need to possibly upgrade Alonso at the expense of a solid starter (when healthy).
