Just noodlin' regarding scrub 2nd basemen

16 team, mixed, 5x5 (OBP), H2H league

I drafted Danny Espinoza and punted him 3 weeks ago. So, now I have Dan Descalso at 2B. I am a Pirates fan and have Andrew McCutchen. Clint Hurdle just announced that Jordy Mercer (who qualifies as 2B) will be getting the majority of time at SS.

Descalso is the only Cardinal I have and I like having one player on that offense, but he is ... unspectacular. I am wondering if it makes sense to drop Descalso and pickup Mercer. I am in first or second place in every offensive category, except OBP.

Secondbase is so shallow ... Bottom line do I just keep Descalso and stop worrying about it?

There is nothing wrong with Descalso at 2B plus you have all his other positions available IF you need to move him

But Mercer should add more R and RBI as he will get more at bats than Descalso
