I don't think you can say Carter, metaphorically, there was nothing to screw. It's not like he lost playing time that he has earned or anything like that.

Allen going from mostly full time AB in a comfy park to Oakland is certainly a downgrade. Long term, he is fighting Goldschmidt in ARI and Barton in Oak, so maybe the edge is slightly in Oakland's favor?

Short term, the A's may not be done dealing. Co-Jax could move to the OF if Crisp or Dejesus is moved.
