Pujols back Tuesday????

#1 Post by viper »

From ESPN ... this is totally nuts.

ST. LOUIS -- Albert Pujols could be back in the St. Louis Cardinals' lineup as early as Tuesday night, beating the initial timetable for his return from a broken left wrist by a month.

After taking indoor batting practice and fielding grounders outside on Monday, Pujols said there was no pain and added that he felt great. He's scheduled to be examined by team physician Dr. George Paletta on Tuesday morning.

Unreal. He is a frakkin' cyborg.
I tried to think of the most harmless thing. Something I loved from my childhood. Something that could never ever possibly destroy us. Mr. Stay Puft! We used to roast Stay-Puft marshmallows, by the fire, at Camp Waconda.

How many more Pujols type years does Albert need before Rogers Horsnby has to relinquish his mythical title? 2? 3? 5?
These are my views based on my own opinions and observations - your mileage may vary.

and now he has been activated but not in today's lineup - for now. Rotoworld says he will start tomorrow and I heard he may start tonight if he passes a rigorous workout before the game.

I guess you have to activate him - especially if he replaces Jesus Guzman, a player I never heard of before a couple of weeks ago.
