Dirks or Casper Wells

#1 Post by viper »

I have C.Wells in my UT slot. FA has Dirks and Chisenhall. All categories are in play.I'm pretty sure I will bid on Chisenhall but should I also make a contingency bid on Dirks. Dirks seems more productive right now but something tells me that Wells is the better long term player. This is a redraft league.

I personally like Dirks the most out of the whole lot, Chisenhall included.

I picked up Dirks on FAAB about a month ago - he seems to do something positive almost every time he plays even though he doesn't get all that much PT (I'm also a Chisenhall owner). Wells just seems to be a dink and doink guy to me.
These are my views based on my own opinions and observations - your mileage may vary.

And now, the rest of the story ...

And the conclusion to the story is I now have Chisenhall. I targeted Chisenhall with Dirks as the contingency. We started with $200 and I had $59 left. I bid $16 and beat a $14 bid. My Dirks bid was $4 and I would have lost that to a $6. Better Chisenhall than Wells I guess.
