Mets prospect Jenrry Mejia has been diagnosed with a complete tear of the MCL in his right elbow.
The Mets just can't catch any breaks. He was looking good this year and surely would have been called up to the big leagues at some point. Only 21, he is now looking at major surgery and will likely be sidelined for a long time. Not good. A tough break if you have him in dynasty or keeper leagues.
