Beltran

An owner in our NL 5x5 keeper league (10 teams; 25 players; 280 cap) is shopping a $14 Beltran and is looking for cheap SP I have Garcia at $5. I am somewhat leery due to health concerns but a move like this could pay dividends. Thoughts.

Personally i need more info to answer this but at first glance i would not do it.

Beltran could earn value at that price but some of his value is in sb which are bound to decrease after micro fracture surgery. I am thinking even if healthy his ab will decrease just due to rest times,etc.

Garcia will easily earn his 5 and think he will continue to make strides this year.


Of course it depends on your other keepers, how much money you will have left and who your teammates are keeping.
