I know he has always been a favorite at Mastersball and wondering what people thought of his year so far. Did well at AA but now struggling at AAA.

The kid turned 21 last April 17. 21!!!

Nothing to worry about.

While he did not exactly dominate Double-A to being the season, a K/BB of 48/21 in 69 2/3rds is just fine.

I think you have to cut the kid a break and let him adjust to Triple-A. He has only had 5 starts and an 18/8 in 25 IP is not bad. The 35 hits is probably some bad luck. The 5 HR is a bit worrisome, but far too small a sample to draw any conclusions.

Since he is way ahead of schedule when you look at age versus level, I'd give him the balance of the season to adjust before breaking out the worry stick.
