trade Pods for either Adam Jones or wait for M. Ordonez

Team in sig, 10 team AL-only 4x4. I have run away with SBs so I'm going to trade away one of my SB specialists. Podsednik is the only potential keeper in the equation at $7 though 2012.

Looking for a goose in HRs, RBIs, and to a lesser extent, Avg if possible. I sent a few offers and got two hits. One owner will trade Adam Jones for Pods right now. Another owner wants a week or two to think about trading Magglio Ordonez.

I prefer Ordonez but my inclination is to make the Jones deal today having been strung along by owners thinking but not pulling the trigger. Oddly, your projections show Jones as the better player for the rest of the season. Not sure I agree with that but always can use the positive feedback.

If it's Jones I want to decide today. What do you think?

Thanks.. ~TB

You won the deal easily if it makes you feel better.

Good luck with it -- if it helps you, it will help me five times over :)

Thank you, I immediately took a mini-vacation and have not seen nor heard anything about baseball until now. I hear the Nationals have a new pitcher that looks promising and I think I'll go see him in Cleveland on Sunday.

As far as the trade goes, I had to go with Jones' hot May vs my belief that Podsednek will wear down. If Jones fails me, admittedly a very real proposition, I can always try tot rade him or cut him at our All Star Break meeting.

I appreciate the responses.
