Any thoughts on this youngster and his impact on the Mets called up today?

Davis is a very good young hitter (had a great college career here at ASU)

He had a rough start in 2008, but a good season last year and should eventually hit foraverage and some power........hopefully he gets off to a good start because a bad start on a losing team in a tough media/fan city might be hard on him

Much more interested in him long term rather than prospects for this year.

also, i write a piece each week on wednesdays at the USA Today fantasy windup (it is online) where i generally look at three minor leaguers (called three for three).

i usually pick my players out on sat, and draft sunday, and then send monday/tues. well, davis was the AAA pick (one from each level, hence the three) for the week.
