At least when I do not log out (and simply leave ths site) the View New Posts function is not working.

well go figure, now it just worked.. So most of the time it does not work for me.

JP and I will look into it, but I suspect it involves what the system considers "new posts". There is no reason this should be an intermittent feature, that sometimes works, sometimes does not.

I guess it is a "feature" of phpBB. It may work differently than the old Mastersball / FantasyBall.com forum. Looking at the phpBB website, it says that the "View New Posts" link does the following:
"View new posts" shows the posts made since your last login. If you log out and back in again, the list will be empty.
I also see a bug report #27495 that indicated that they have had multiple reports of problems with this feature but have been unable to narrow down exactly what causes problems. I will monitor the bug reports and I'll install the first fix or update that solves the problem.

There is no reason this should be an intermittent feature, that sometimes works, sometimes does not.
Unless of course there is a bug :roll:
