He hit the ground running. Has he gained enough command to stay in the bigs and if so, what does his future hold?
His stuff seems electric.

He's a 22 year old who's pitched two innings against the In-A-Funk-Mets on a team that is beating the bushes in their own minor league system to find pitching help.He put up great AA numbers but I wouldn't say he's hit the ground running. Way too early to call ...especially the way Torre runs through relievers.

He's a converted catcher that has only been pitching since 2009. His K-rate is off the charts, but his walk rate is high (50K, 17 BB in 28 Double-A innings as a 22 year old with a career 29 2/3rds Single-A innings under his belt).

Where these settle will determine a lot (says Captain Obvious).

He's worth a flyer based on POTENTIAL if you use K/9.

There will be some out there who want to be "that guy" and will tell you he is the next big thing. He MIGHT be.

First it is Kenley

Todd is probably, conservatively correct

But I am still going to add
1) for teams that are desperate for even a handful of saves, or
2) to play Wally Cox to block,
he was/is a decent add

Broxton is overused by Torre (he doesn't much care for their other options past Kuo) and may not be totally healthy (personal observation from watching on TV) and Kuo is dynamite but they don't want him pitching too many innings either (given injury history), so long way around the barn, but I think Jansen could get a handful of saves when B/K are not available OR when the Dodgers are ahead when he enters in the 8th or 7th AND score enough runs to make it a non save situation.

I FAABed him for $69 in two or three WCOFB leagues last week and lost him to a $300+ bid in an LA NL keeper league

I'm thinkin' Charley Weaver for the win.

Great arm, but who knows if he'll rein in the control.

I like a guy like Ernesto Frieri a little better if you're just looking for badass rates.
