Fantasy Baseball Cardinal Rules (not STL)

#1 Post by fwicker » August 10th, 2017, 6:19 pm

Looking to add to this list:

I keep looking for cardinal rules for fantasy baseball.... one I will heretofore burn in my memory ---- what are yours?

DO NOT DRAFT AN INJURED PITCHER!!!!! (aka the Harvey Rule)

And the corollary

DO NOT DRAFT AN INJURED PITCHER WHO ENDED THE PREVIOUS YEAR ON TH DL (aka the Wainwright Rule)

And yet another

DO NOT DRAFT PITCHERS WHO ARE OFTEN INJURED (aka the Shoemaker rule).

And the last:

FOLLOW THE CARDINAL RULES

And what are yours (including Todd)

in redraft contests with FAAB and a reserve squad I think it makes sense to "churn" at least one spot. E.G. Spend a small amount each week on a lottery pick, wait a week or two and either keep the pick or churn it again.
