Need help evaluating a keeper trade. Send Judge ($10 next year), Morton and Cobb for Greinke Kenley Jansen and Bryce Harper.

I'm in second by 5 points based mostly on my offense. Areas for improvement are Steals and pitching. Top steals guys are fostered by my competitors so I figure I need to bolster my pitching. I just traded Fulmer and Rodon for deGrom and Quintana. There is a 1500 innings cap and I only have 680 ks in 780 innings pitched so far. Even with deGrom and Quintana I think I need more k/9 given the hole I've dug for myself. I'm also right behind the first place team in saves so that could be a two point swing.

Here is my squad. Would you make the deal?

C McCann
1b M Cabrera
2b Kinsler
3B Donaldson
SS Bogaerts
MI Russell
CI Carlos Santana
OF Judge Bryant Sano JBJ Gardner
UT Hanley
BN Haniger Buxton
DL Taylor

SP deGrom Quintana Duffy Arrieta Cobb Morton Castillo
RP Davis Iglesias Colome Kela
DL Familia

What are the salaries and contract lengths of the other players involved?

Salaries as follows: Judge $10, Cobb $10, Morton $10 for Harper $47, Jansen $26 Greinke $15.

Our league limits keepers for prize money finishers. First keeps one, second two, etc. There is $7 inflation and the minimum keeper price is $10. There is no contract length. Just inflation. Judge is a great value for the next 2-3 years ($10, $17, $24).

Thanks for taking a look!

So long as you don't have a cap to deal with, I don't personally care about salaries in this type of deal. The intent is to win the league.

All that matters is the category math -- which only you can do. Assuming as logical a conclusion as you can for the rest of the season, how much better are your chances to win? That's all that matters.

The hole in K/9 is huge. Be honest in your assessment and do the category math.

No cap, no foul... under these circumstances, I'd make the deal. dependent on it satisfying your immediate needs.
