A season long stash, he could begin paying dividends as early as may 1. I like him for above average power once called up and even will throw in a handful of steals. Could start producing immediately.

One of the top set up men last year. Great to deploy when some of my starters are facing bad match ups, or just simply to help keep ratios down.

well i really like him and think he wil have some good value regardless if Wilson stays healthy or not. I was eyeing him on the return and about dropped when i saw MR go in the proceeding picks.

Re: Round 25, Pick 5 Aroldis Chapman SP/RP CIN

#8 Post by Pentavarit » March 17th, 2012, 11:07 pm

I don't know where he fits in or if he can survive the Dusty Treatment, but he's got some shizz and I feel like he's gonna setup and not be a starter, which means possible saves and lots of Ks and hopefully other good periphs. If he starts, I dunno...

On a side note, I know we all have different strategies for "punting" certain positions until late, but I can't wait to see what Trav is thinking on his backstop sitch. That makes me go hmmmmm with one eyebrow raised...

Also eligible at 3rd. Figures to get the lion's share of ABs at 1B for BAL this year. And, who knows?, maybe he won't suck this year, stranger things have happened.

I don't see Clay Buchholz gone, so I'll take him if he's available.

I have a NFBC online at 5 pm today, so I'll try to give Ryan a list as best I can, but that's my draft of focus.
