Though he may miss some time in the beginning of the season, I'm just mystified by his power potential. 11 HRs in 200 ABs translates into 25 HRs with a decent BA.

A tough season last year no doubt, but I'll take this talented southpaw who should be good for 200 inn. 12-15 wins with ratios that wont kill you.

"Rocket arm" is the phrase MLB.com uses to describe him, and I agree. Blazing fastball, spotty control. He made strides in cutting the walk rate last year, and if he can do a bit more to get the command in line, I could be looking at 190Ks with a mid 3 ERA. Worst case, he's a 4 ERA guy with 190Ks. At this point - anyone with that kind of K potential is like that. The upside is worth it in the 22 round.

Slow goings today. Everyone sleeping or already drunk for St. Patty's Day?

yeah, man. I wonder if at this point, folks who are unavailable or not able to jump in can give a list of picks to somebody and we can get through these last few rounds. This is really dragging out. I understand people have jobs and families and commitments for sure, but maybe there's a way we can expidite things!!

Re: ROUND 22 Pick 5 Daniel Murphy 1B/2B/3B NYM

I will grab Murphy and he will be my super UT guy. He covers me at 1b/3b/2b/mi/ci and he can hit .300 so whenever I need to lean on him he won't hurt me.

I'll continue to turn back the clock and take another fallen superstar, Johan Santana. He has looked good in the spring so far, and that's only important because health is the main factor in him becoming fantasy relevant again. He may not last all year or anywhere close, but worth the risk to me in the 22nd round.

He's got some pop. He's got some speed. He's got a good lineup spot on a good team. He's got an everyday job.

He'll fit in nicely at my U and provide some depth for the motley crue of OFs I've assembled.
