I thought for sure the cop was going to drop the flag and the bartender was going to be in the cruiser. LMAO!

Nice story Nate!

RE Lind: Yeah - that was a need pick - but I figured I have taken soooooo many players that I wanted, it was time to take one I needed. I actually kinda wanted Maybin and/or Paps. Maybin would have been pushing it with my roster I think. Paps best on the board at the CL position - but being in the middle I knew even if a run started I'd be able to get someone decent - so I went with the best power bat I saw in Lind.

Haven't commented in a while so I figured I'd post my thoughts.....

What a difference drafting this way is. For me I'm used to drafting online and having 90 sec to make a pick. The biggest change for me is not having a draft que in front of you, suggesting who the next pick is. Also with this much time to pick you spend a lot of time going back and forth, where online you need to make quick snap decisions. Also I've felt the need to watch catagories like SB and grab players who deliver what my team needs or run the risk of being shut out.

As for my team, it's quite a group I've assembled. I can safely say that NONE of my other teams will look like this one, not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing. I guess we'll see.

Wouldn't have gone Feliz had Heyward or Bonafacio made it to me. I had both pegged for my turn picks. That's okay, just proves my valuation was about right on them.

Again, I realize my staff isn't that impressive looking but I'm very happy with it at this point. Bats are really starting to become dart throws so I figured its time to catch up in rostered pitchers.

I like those wheel picks by Andrew. Good chance he gets nearly 400 Ks from a couple of picks in the teens. With a little luck some good ratios and wins as well!

Like that Motte pick as well. He's a guy I have unsuccessfully targeted in other drafts and think he could do really well this year. This draft has been without the typical runs you see in 15 team drafts, I'm guessing for that reason and also because we aren't competing in an overall championship.

I like Motte as well. He's who I would have taken when I took Farnsworth had Kyle been taken.

I was hoping Motte would slip through to the end of the round, myself. But, that was too much to ask.
