Week 2-Which Defense/Drop Question

#1 Post by tybs » September 14th, 2012, 11:59 am

Scoring is 2 points per sack, int and fr, 6 points per D/ST TD. I drafted Seattle and hoped to use them every week. New England is a FA. They looked much improved from last season in week 1. They certainly seem like a better play vs Happy Feet Kolb and Zona this week. I can drop Seattle to pick up NE or drop Ingram, Amendola, Locker (backup QB to Ryan) or Turbin. Other RB's currently on roster are McCoy, Ridley and Don Brown. WR's are Julio, Cruz, Garcon and Ogletree. 12 team league. Standard scoring for offensive players.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

EDIT: I might add that I'm playing against GB defense, so I'm already 22 points in the hole.

The pickup is easy - Patriots at home vs Cardinals flying to ET ... MUCH better play than Seahawks vs Cowboys (although Seattle does play well at home)

Drop is tougher but I would suggest Locker because you aren't playing anyone but Ryan until Week 7 and you can always get a bye play QB cheaply in Week 5 or 6 (prefferable to waiting until other teams also possibly looking)

Agree with Perry here.

I own Seattle D in a couple places, but always behind another more highly rated D as for me they profile better as a Plug - and Play D than an everyweek option.
