Live Drafts in Ithaca, NY

#1 Post by shif6 »

Long standing AL & NL 5x5 leagues. An owner has retired. 8 owner leagues, maximum 12 keepers, not counting 5 farm players (not money leagues). Strong competition (including Rob Leibowitz). Looking for someone to take over two good teams, if possible - one in AL, the other in NL, and be willing to attend the auction. We ordinarily have our auctions on the Saturday or Sunday after the season starts. This year we may have it on a Saturday or Sunday two weeks before the season starts (because one of our members will be out of the country on our normal draft day). Any interest. Please send a private message.

Hi all - very fun league. I've been involved for at least 3 seasons now. The leagues are shallow, but we have a good time - doing two drafts in one day - surprisingly manageable as we start at like 9 in the morning and finish up by 3 or 4 with both with plenty of time for a nice lunch in the middle.

Our AL league is filled, but we have an NL spot open. Our draft will be on 3/15. Rob will be facing his difficult competition in this league before he faces the relatively easy competition of Tout Wars on the 29th.
Well maybe it's not Tout Wars but it is a league going back before the services did the stats. It is filled with a number of good hearted roto sharks who know how to have a good time.
