Contract Length: Up to 5 years, with escalators. Minimum contract length is 1 year, minimum dollar amount is $325,000
Example 5 year contract:
Aramis Ramirez signed for 5 years at $5.9 million would see his contract escalated like this:
Aramis Ramirez - $4,720,000 $5,310,000 $5,900,000 $6,490,000 $6,785,000
Early Termination Penalty: 25% of contract per year remaining.
Example early termination fee:
Bill Hall signed to a 4 year contract at $800,000 and dropped in the 1st year

Restricted Free Agents: At the end of each season you will be able to place a restricted tag on 2 players of your choosing.
