That said, throw any Trout projection out the window. Each drafter needs to make their own decision.
Your team, your call.
Personally, I'm avoiding Trout - the risk is too steep.

I've worked out the schedule adjustments (park factors, strength of opposition) and have incorporated them into the engine. I'm going through playing time now. NO PROMISES - but there could be an update Wednesday or Thursday.

I already have Austin Riley for significant playing time (others will likely peg Riley as a gainer). I'm giving more AB to Ender Inciarte, Johan Camargo and Adam Duvall.

Re: Combined Bats/Arms Rankings?
Combined rankings depend on the hitter/pitcher split. The NFBC prices are intended for the auctions. I'd try ranking by the 15-team mixed prices and if that doesn't look like you want, you'll need to play with the CVRCs, altering the hitting/pitching split. If pitchers are still too high using 15MIX...

To be honest, everything is different this season and your plan should revolve around how you feel teams will handle pitching, especially early on. FWIW, I'm not in the wanting fantasy to mimic real baseball camp so I'm fine with standard 5x5, though do prefer OBP over average and innings pitched over wins.
That said, this category makes no sense to me. Using batting average and net steals plus walks instead of steals is ok too.

Keeper league or 2020 only? If 2020 only, I wouldn't do anything until more is known about the season/schedule.
That said, I'd look to drop Eaton or Braun for a 2B eligible player so you have all the spots covered.

Probably not the answer you want to see, but valuation doesn't work that way. There isn't a one-size-fits-all points system. There's so much position flexibility in today's game, so you only need two pools - catcher and non-catcher. This is the default setup. Re: Benintendi for K. Marte + Jared Kelenic?
Everything Marte is doing is fully supported by the underlying metrics, so there isn't any regression due in the classical sense (good luck regressing to the mean), That said, it's obviously unclear whether he can maintain this pace all season. Benintendi is the same guy, just performing at the lowe...

Can't say yes or no -- too contextual to league rules and how you manage the team. Points are straightforward since you're not balancing categories. The math is the points you think you get from the batter(s) replacing Blackmon versus Blackmon and compare that against the points you get from Perez a...

In a keep forever dynasty league, I'd jump all over this. There's a good chance Yelich and Acuna are close to a wash for most of the next several years.

I'm a Yandy Diaz believer so would likely leave Aguilar where he is, though I wouldn't hesitate to drop Kimbrel if I needed the spot.

Re: Bye bye Bryce?
It comes down to how you feel about Kershaw. It's one thing to say in a vacuum, "if you're dealing Harper, get a better pitcher back", but that's easier said than done in a climate with so many aces hurt or struggling. Kershaw is a risk, especially in H2H if he's out during the playoffs. H...

Re: Trade Advice
Pure numbers, you'll need about 480 PA from Astudillo to break even. That seems steep to me. Game theory-wise, Realmuto is GOLD in daily moves since you want to get as close to the 180 games as possible and he plays a TON. Using Astudillo, or almost any other catcher, requires high maintenance with ...

The skills have always been there. Health, consistency and the fact the Cardinals always have other options have gotten in the way of Wong concreting his role. So yeah, it's definitely possible. It'd be better if he was hitting higher in the order, but maybe that'll come.

The Rotowire rankings are formulaic. Most often I'll go by the rankings, but sometimes it's needs driven.
As for Gausman/Chacin, I'd go with the Rotowire rankings, your team, your call.

H2H or season-long? If not H2H, it's far too early to start managing categories, pick the player in the best spot for the week. If it's tied, then maybe break it with categories.

Re: 5x5 Pitching Staff Questions
Usually, in 5x5 leagues, innings minimums are cosmetic. In mixed leagues, teams will amass 1100-1400 IP. There's no way to compete in W and K without being in that range. You can design a strategy to punt W/K, making sure you have saves and low ratios then using the extra assets on hitting to crush ...

Not a huge fan of two aces, hurts hitting and pitching can still be managed. Your team, you call -- really depends on who you can get as a bat at #2 and arm at #6.

I'm personally not a fan or Freeland, he'd be my choice. That said, Hudson's low strikeout total not only hurts in points formats, it makes him susceptible to poor outings. To be honest, I'd stick with Freeland, at least early as his schedule isn't bad. Your team, your call.

There's no definitive answer. Drafting catchers is a personal choice. Some want good ones, others prefer to wait - and everything in between.

Understood -- just saying my opinion is you're overthinking. Spend time learning the player pool and not worrying about standings. My saying for this is "Win the league, not the draft." Trust me, everyone in the league is going to hit their targets and say they're at the top of the standin...

It's really not a black/white answer. The recent trend is to push pitching early and often. My advice is map out a couple of different target pitching staffs -- don't need to be exact with names -- one from these three, one from these four, etc. Then, follow the flow and pick pitching to get the tar...

Despite his age, Verlander is showing no signs of decline. Those that like to be off a player one year too early rather than one year too late are likely going to be off a couple years too early.

The NFBC AL/NL may tilt a little more to pitching, at least at the to end, but it won't be as extreme as the 62/38 mixed auctions.
