Weekly Rankings

I remember seeing something in the past with weekly rankings...do you still do those? Can't find them in the platinum section.

Trout News

Todd, thoughts on this article? Seems more bullish to him not taking a lot of time off for paternity. How many games do you think he'll play this year? https://www.espn.com/mlb/story/_/id/295 ... n-baby-way

Hi Todd, will there be any additional updates to projections prior to Opening Day? Thanks.

Re: Latest Update... any major changes?

What I'm saying is can you tell me which players impacted... don't want to go through every line of stats to find it. Pretty please?

Latest Update... any major changes?

Todd, any major changes from yesterday's projections to today's? Don't see anything mentioned in player notes or elsewhere.

Right, but his games dropped from 49 to 46. Why is that?

Downgrade

I notice you downgraded Starling Marte from the version last week to this week. Is that because he was out of camp and it might take him longer to get back up to speed?

Is it happening today (Friday) or has it been delayed?

Re: Quick Question

Paternity leave is minimum 1 game, maximum 3 games, correct? So the 50 games is assuming minimum 1 game for paternity plus another 9 games off out of 49 (18%)? Is that right? I'll be honest, simply asking this question suggests you're too focused on a completely arbitrary projection. No one takes o...

Quick Question

Todd, quick question: is your 50 game projection what you expect if he plays a full season (minus maybe a couple games for his newborn), or is it factoring in a deduction in games due to the chance he sits out the whole season?

I already have Austin Riley for significant playing time (others will likely peg Riley as a gainer). I'm giving more AB to Ender Inciarte, Johan Camargo and Adam Duvall.
Thanks for the update, Todd.

Stat Changes During Interim Between Todd's Updates

Hey guys, with Todd's permission I am starting a thread of player stat adjustments due to expected playing time changes between his most recent update (July 3) and his next one (July 10).  I'm sure many of you have drafts between now and then and would like as much updated stats as possible.  So, be...

Hi Todd, is there a timely up-to-the-minute news source that you would recommend for tracking injuries? Perhaps Rotoworld or something similar? Just curious as to which you think is best and the one you personally use. Thanks.

Hi Todd, I'm curious how often you update the projections? I have a draft next Thursday and want to use the latest data at that time to prepare. Do you think you'll update projections between now and then? Thanks.

Combined Bats/Arms Rankings?

Hi Todd, do you have combined rankings for the NFBC Main Event? I know you have hitters in one spreadsheet and pitchers in another, but when combined and sorted by dollar value it has Cole 1st overall and the order seems top-heavy with pitchers. How do you suggest ranking all the hitters and pitcher...

Re: NFBC Main Event: Ideal # Arms & Bats to Draft

To be honest, everything is different this season and your plan should revolve around how you feel teams will handle pitching, especially early on. If you're playing in the 2020 Main Event, I strongly urge you to take the time to read the six part Winning Tendencies series and formulate the strateg...

NFBC Main Event: Ideal # Arms & Bats to Draft

Couple questions regarding the NFBC Main Event: (1) What is the ideal # of pitchers to draft with your 30 selections? (2) Of the pitchers you draft, what is the ideal # of SP's to draft, Closers to draft, and Middle Relievers/Setup Men to draft? (3) For the 9 active pitcher slots, what is the ideal ...
