Re: DC Express: Something different

It will be interesting to see how it pans out. I think going Carrasco/deGroom would have been sweet as well for SPs. I think I am kind of liking #1-2 or #14-15 more this year than in the past in order to target some of the pitching I like. That said, I know Severino was a mistake but people are high...

Re: Scoresheet Strategy and Trading

My only complaint about Scoresheet is it sims to results and not skills, at least for the most part so yeah, Santana's owners were pretty lucky. Agreed it isn't perfect. That's the fantasy baseball aspect of it though. If I had Ervin Santana in a 5x5 league, I was lucky too and benefitted from it.....

Re: Scoresheet Strategy and Trading

I am not going to win the league... League Champ was Greinke, Scherzer as his crossovers, along with Darvish, Keuchel, Pomeranz, and Ervin Santana (who I think pitched over his head last year)... Hard to beat that. He also has Sal Perez, so he isn't giving that up either..... :(

Re: Scoresheet Strategy and Trading

Ok, here's another Scoresheet team I have - AL Only - With hard 13, minor leaguers count as late draft picks, 2 crossovers from NL can be kept. Recently acquired, finished middle of the pack (5th out of 10) last year. Here are the players on the team (in no order, just copy and paste job): Chris Arc...

Re: Scoresheet Strategy and Trading

So you're assured of at least Longo/Quintana Cozart isn't terrible, add Quintana, hope the others are all SP2 and you never know. Yeah. This team is going to be a project. I mostly joined this league because the same group has done an AL one since '89 and an NL one since '93. All original owners, I...

Re: Scoresheet Strategy and Trading

How many can you keep? Scoresheet can be confusing in terms of rounds. Let's say everyone keeps ten. Is the first pick of the draft 11.01? Do farm players count against your keepers? We can keep 13 players, so first round on the re-draft is 14. We can keep 3 cross over players of the 13. We can kee...

Scoresheet Strategy and Trading

Hey all, I have been doing Scoresheet for a few years, and it's a different animal than your typical roto leagues. I often get trade offers and do not know if I am being offered a fair trade or not. Example: I am playing in a 10 team, NL Only Private League. I have been offered Zack Cozart (cross ov...

Do you have concerns about lack of power hitting on this team?
